I have been around German Wirehaired Pointers for many years. My first hunting experience with a GWP was with a friend who owned a black GWP by the call name of “Zip”. From that point on, I was hooked on GWP's.  I hunted with Zip for several more years until his passing. I have raised many litters throughout the years and placed them in hunting homes. Tested versatile GWP's are bred to select hunting GWP's to improve the Vom Woltjen line. My belief is when you breed the best to the best, the odds of obtaining a nice hunting dog are in your favor.Again, NAVHDA's system comes into play with the Vom Woltjen breedings. My dogs are NAVHDA registered and tested.

Vom Woltjen Kennels have both liver & white and black & white GWP's. You can look at the photos and see the dogs.
